Expanding Our Partnerships

SFSI is excited about our new partners and the activities that have been generated by these relationships.

SFSI joined the Educators Network last year and has participated in monthly meetings with the non-profit education community. Our membership has provided the opportunity to be involved in the following events:

SFSI partnered with the SF Botanical Gardens to provide hands-on activities for the SFPS Adelante Program for Homeless Students and Families following their weekly family dinner. We look forward to partnering once again at our April Saturday Science on site at the Botanical Gardens.

SFSI has been invited by the SFPS Science Coordinator to provide inquiry-based activities for students during the SF Science Expo at the SF Community College for the second consecutive year..

SFSI and SFAFS will be co-sponsoring the Science Café program at the O’Keeffe Education Annex during 2016-2017. The February speaker will be Dr. W. Scott Baldridge, who will present the Geology of Northern New Mexico. March and April events will be posted soon.
